The new student dormitory is defined by two incisions. The horizontal one forms the entrance area and defines a framed L-shape on the south facade where the student rooms are located. The vertical incision is positioned on the west facade, illuminating the communal spaces. Along with a spacious rooftop terrace, a library, a self-contained caretaker's apartment, and a public café the design provides each resident with a high level of privacy while fostering a sense of community.
